The UK has hit its hottest temperature on record, with temperatures exceeding 40C on Tuesday afternoon.

This week we saw the highest temperature on record with temperatures exceeding 40c in parts of the UK. In Manchester we saw temperature highs of 36c which made school a very hot place to be!
