Year 5

Meet the Year 5 team!

Welcome to Year 5! We are very excited to be the Year 5 team this year. The adults that will be working with the class are:-

5H class teacher - Miss Mannion

5T class teacher - Miss Howell

TAs supporting Year 5 - Mrs Hagan, Mr Morris & Mrs Malik

We are also lucky to be learning samba with Miss Wren and Spanish with Miss Laura!

Homework in Year 5

We expect children to be reading regularly throughout the week with the expectation that they will be reading and quizzing on a minimum of one book per week (although we realise that long novels may take a little longer to finish and children may read several shorter books during a week!)

Children can also read books on www.myon.co.uk - they should know their logins but please speak to the Year 5 team if there are any issues with this!

Maths and English will be sent home on a Friday to be returned the following Monday.

Spellings will be sent home each Tuesday for a test the following Tuesday.

PE DAY

Please note that PE lessons this year, will be on a Wednesday. Your child will need to bring their PE kit and suitable footwear.
